Student Created Websites
During May, 6th graders created websites on either an Ancient Civilization, World Biome or a National Disaster. The topic choice was up to them. They took notes, created pages and produced their websites. Students were also required to create a bibliography for their websites. The rubric for the project is posted below. Spot in the Woods Writing
Throughout the year, the 6th graders have visited their spots in the woods. As a culminating activity, the sixth graders completed a final writing project about their spots in each season of the year. Students were to use literary techniques to help describe what they see, hear, smell, touch and taste in their spots. Click on the files below to read some of the student writing.
