My favorite halloween activity was carving pumpkins. The insides we very slimy and disgusting. The carving part was fun we got to draw different designs on the pumpkins then cut them with tools. There were lot of creative ideas. There was even a contest of who had the best pumpkin! It was really fun carving pumpkins on halloween.

I enjoyed carving pumpkins at school on halloween. We got to choose a design and be as creative as we wanted to be. Everyone had a different design. It was really fun and i got to talk to my friends. We had paper all over the table with a big ice cream pale in the center. That is where we put the pumpkin guts while we were cleaning out the pumpkin. When we all finished we had a pumkin contest. Everyone voted to decide who had the best pumpkin. We did alot of fun things on halloween but carving pumpkins was my favorite.

I really enjoyed carving pumpkins at school. I thought it was really fun! I loved how all the pumpkins turned out. I loved the designs on all the pumpkins. We even had a pumpkin contest for the best pumpkin. Everyone got to vote on which pumpkin they liked best. I really enjoyed celebrating Halloween.

My favorite Halloween event probably has to be carving the pumpkins! That was so much FUN!!:) I could NOT think of a design, so I had my friend Cianna do mine. I helped some of my other friends carve. One thing that was hilerous was that when we had the pumpkin contest, I got 3rd place and I didn't even really do anything! Also it was like regular pumpkin, eyes, nose and a smile with a tooth! So I gave my treat to Cianna. I had the best time ever at school for Halloween! TTYL!

I'm sure most children in the USA have trick or treated before. But, have you ever trick or treated in your own school? That's what we did last Monday, with Mr. Alonzi. (Pardon my spelling, please). We went to several select SJP rooms that were handing out sugary delicious treats. One room was even handing out full-sized candy bars. ("Please refrain from taking two!") It didn't last forever, though, as most Halloween candy does not. It went by like a candy-bar being eaten, but it was still very much fun, and I hope to do it again sometime.

I liked when we went to the Arboretum on Halloween. We used compasses to find a granite tile in the ground. One person would stand with a compass on the tile before, and the other person would walk so many paces and find the next tile. It was fun because you would swich off with your partner. At the end you would have to uncramble the letters and find a word. My partner was Kevin. The answer to the thing that Kevin and I had to uncramble was Salamander. It was fun in the Arboretum.

My favorite part about halloween was going on a field trip to the arboretum. It was fun because, we got to navigate to a certain spot by using a compass and a partner. I loved the teamwork we had. And after that as a treat we got suckers from sarah. I hope we can do something like that again!

I really enjoyed carving pumpkins. The insides were kind of gross. My favorite part of carving pumpkins was carving the face. I made eyebrows, two oval eyes, and a not so toothy grin. I really loved carving pumpkins.

Yes I did do Mayuri's pumpkin!(: (and it was worth it!) I had A LOT of fun on Halloween but my favorite part was carving pumpkins! I talked to my friends while they were finishing at the end. I loved taking out the inside of it! I was cool seeing what everyone did on their pumpkin. My pumpkin had eyebrows, triangle eyes, triangle nose, A MUSTACHE and a thin mouth!

I love halloween, it's a time of ghouls, ghosts, and goblins. We did many things at school to celebrate this holiday, but my favorite was the pumkin carving. I took a picture from the internet, and carved my pumkin from the picture. My parents volenteered, and help me with cutting mine out. After all the pumkins where finished, we placed them outside our classroom, and had students vote on which pumkin was there favorite. Which (to my surprise) I actually thurned out to be one of three people that won! I love carving pumkins, and hope Mrs. Anderson will allow next-year's students to do the same. I'm sure I'll post more later, but bye for now!

My favorite part of the day was when we went to the Arboretum. Because, well, first we got to pick our partners! I picked Ben. Then we got compasses. Ben and i got picked last to start going. We had to find our way from one granite piece to another with a compass which was easy except when you had two slabs right next to each other because you didn't know what one it was. When you were done and made it to the finish you could solve a puzzle. The way you got your answer was on each granite piece was a letter. You marked down each letter, then you unscrambled the letters to the secret code...(Don't tell anyone but ours was bullfrog). In the end we got suckers that were very good. Since we were last we got our suckers first.

My favorite part of halloween at school was making pumpkin pie. Mixing the ingredients together to make a finished product was a fun experience, and getting to feel the dough in my fingers is one of my favorite things to do. Stirring and mixing, etc. is awesome! then, just hanging around in the kitchen was the best. all in all, we were motivated by the thought of eating it later.

The part I liked about the halloween celebrations is the making of the pumpkin pie. It was fun because we did it all by our selves (with a little help from the grown ups). First my group made, and measured, and rolled the dough. Then my group went to making the filling, but thats were we got a little mixed up, with the evaporated milk. The reason it was wrong is because we assumed that it was 3/4 of a cup, or something like that but nope it was a whole cup so we dumped it all in. (Don't worry though it was still ok). By the way: always look at the sizing of the evaporated milk. I can not stress that enough. Bye bye now have a nice day.

my favorite part about halloween was baking pumpkin pie it was so much fun and all the spices smelled so good. I think that everyone who helped bake the pumpkin pie did a great job. It also tasted even better than it smelled. Again I really loved baking pumpkin pie and hope that the next class to do it likes it to.( I love pumpkin pie if you cant tell already!!!!!)

On Monday (Halloween)the 6th graders at St. John's Prep carved pumpkins. It was really fun. The squishy, slimy pumpkin guts felt really cool. I absolutely hate the smell of the inside of the pumpkin though. Overall I had a great time.

My favorite part of halloween was when we carved pumpkins. I love carving pumpkins, and carving one in school was a whole new experience. I was very suprised at the amount creativity that was put into making those awesome pumpkin carvings. I guess I mostly enjoyed looking at what everyone else was doing, and seeing the finished product. Overall, I really liked the entire day, even though I wasn't feeling to good!

My favorite part of the Halloween celebration was carving the pumpkins. The inside were really mushy and had seeds every where. A parent cut open a hole in the top. Then using our hands or scoops we got all the insides out of the pumpkin. Then using knives we cut our designs in to the pumpkin. The whole day was really fun but I liked pumpkin carving the best.

My favorite thing about Halloween was putting on our costumes and trick or treating around the school instead of going out for recess. I like recess but I like candy better. We went all around the school and lots of people saw us in our costumes. My favorite candy were the candy bracelets. Comments are closed.
