This is our last full week of the semester. We went shopping today for Toys for Tots. We'll walk the toys over to the Great Hall tomorrow. Looking ahead we have several tests in the next few days. Probably the best part of our week will be our time with Sarah Gainey in the science building tomorrow. Please take some time and blog about our week.

Today we went shopping for Toys for Tots. Half of us went to Target and the rest went to Barns and Noble. I was in the target group we had lots of fun my group had many idease but only had a hundred dollars so we settled for some games, candy, and toys. We had to think smart so one of the members of the group brought a calculater and added all the math. Each of the groups was accompanied by an adult. From my opinion I think I had the nicest and most thoughtful one. We had lots of fun and laughs and I wished it would never ended.

I can't beleive we went shopping for a feild trip in school. My group and I bought many things for the Toys for Tots fundraiser. We bought about seven to eight games. Some of the games that we got are a Rubics Ball( like the Rubics Cube except a ball), Banana Grams, and the only other one I can name is the mini Guitar Hero. We got eight or nine chapter books all that we would love to read. The one book that I thought was very interesting was called Vampires. The drop off at the Great Hall will be amazing. It'll feel really, really, really good to know that I'm giving a Chrismas gift to a child in need this year.

I liked going outside to look for animal signs with Sarah. The big hole Alex and his group found was neat. I wonder what animal it belonged to? It must have been at least a somewhat large animal, I think it couldn't have been smaller than a rabbit. Mean while the hollowed out log I found belonged to a small animal, maybe a mouse. I wish I had had more time to look at other people's discoveries. Although there wasn't as much time as I wanted there to be, it was fun.

I think we got some pretty cool stuff for toys for tots. One game we got was a miniature bopit game. Another game was a 3-d rubix game. We got card games and novels too. I think the kids we got them for will be pretty happy with them.

Today was a wonderful day but the most fun we had was when we went into the woods by the old water tower. We did every thing we did last exept I found some neat stuff like tracks and burrows. Although I did find some scat and what I think is blood but I don't know. Everyone had a fun time and its a memory that will last.

This was so much fun. When we were searching for presents it made me fell really good inside because i knew the kids would feel so delitated to have these amazingly awesome gifts. There was a rubics cube 360 and mini guitar hero, it was truly fun. I hope that the kids who recieve will thank us for all the gifts we got out of $400 thats for sure. Thanks Mrs. Anderson for helping out to and everyone else who donated we all are happy you did.

I really had fun going to Subway and shopping at Target. I am disappointed that the movie that I wanted to get as a gift for "Toys for Tots" had to be put back because we were running out of money! But I was happy because I got to pick out the penguin sled that we bought. I can't wait until we get to do something like this again.

The Storm Tracker game we did in science today was really fun! I did pretty good; only once were about 120 people killed because my tracking was a little off. This digital lab was more interesting than the convection one. It was cool to see how scientists track hurricanes, and try to save people's lives.

I really liked the hurricane tracker game. I didn't cause anybody to die, but then again my hurricane never made contact with land. The first time I messed up, but after that it said I did a good job. The game was fun and I'd like to do it again. Comments are closed.
